Suppose you’ve heard about the benefits of poker, such as enhancing confidence, decision-making ability, and strategic mindset, but you don’t know where to start. Or maybe you attended a Poker Power event and want to learn more and connect with others on a similar journey. We built the Poker Power app with you in mind. Here are some highlights of the app:

  1. Learning – The ‘Learn’ tab is designed just for you. It features interactive games to familiarize you with the various components and positions of the game. After gaining some familiarity, try ‘Raise or Fold’ and ‘Deal the Fold’ to evaluate your hand’s strength during the round. If that feels too advanced, we’ve divided ‘Poker’ into nearly a dozen distinct lessons. Each lesson includes a short quiz to ensure you understand the material. You can review any lesson whenever you need a refresher.
  2. Practice Games – Once you feel sufficiently prepared and confident in your understanding of Poker, it’s time to take your learnings to practice. Check out Practice Game located under the ‘Play’ tab. Our bots have been specifically programmed and designed with beginners in mind, mirroring the lessons you’ve been exposed to during your Poker Power lessons (live and virtual). This is the perfect opportunity to put your knowledge to the test and practice the critical actions of the game, including calling, raising, checking, betting, and folding. You’ll also get to experience the unpredictability and randomness of the cards you’re dealt with. Improve your speed in making decisions, grasp the flow of the game, and discern when to make the appropriate moves.
  3. Open and Community Games – Ready to take it to the next level, check out our Open and Community Games. Open Games will just pair you with others on the app that are also looking to play a game. There are two modes – a Quick Game that you can hop in and out of or a Tournament – where you play until the everyone runs out of chips and there’s one clear winner. If you know others that are on a similar journey with Poker or already know how to play, you can Create a Game and invite them to the table.

Furthermore, we recently introduced a Stats section in your Profile to track your game play progress. It showcases your most successful card combination and counts the number of hands you’ve been dealt and won among other things. We are going to continue developing this area and hope you find it useful.

We constantly introduce improvements, so stay tuned for more. If you like what you see, please rate us in the app store. We’d appreciate it! Also, we value your feedback and suggestions, so do not hesitate to share your thoughts or experiences with us.
